The Open View

Houston's in Metairie is a four star American restaurant. This is a great place. This is a moderately priced restaurant. When you step inside the restaurant, you'll notice a family atmosphere. This restaurant features a full bar and valet parking. Diners found the food so fresh.

Expert Reviews of Houstons Restaurant

Citysearch | Roomy banquettes and hefty portions typify this polished American grill that's popular for business deals and special occasions.

Burnished brass and stained wood complement roughly mortared brick and the occasional plant. Amid ubiquitous earth tones, corporate types and small parties (celebrating or simply living large) occupy deep...

User Reviews of Houstons Restaurant

Horrible service and ok food

Two of my friends and I decided to go to Houston's for an all girls lunch. Our waitress was beyond rude and the food was ok at best. It took 10 min to get our water and tea. Her service was so horrible that...

Simply Embarrasing

Not worth the wait, and certainly not worth the price. Spinach dip good, the rest of the menu mediocre at best. Relative to the price, the food is poor. More frustrating is the seating policy around the bar....

Good Steak House

This is one of the better steakhouses in New Orleans. The Hawaiian is good, the Prime Rib is ok. I personally don't think it is as good as it was before the Hurricane and i think the restaurant on St.

this place is awesome!

My favorite place in town. The spinach and artichoke dip is the best I've ever had. The Hawaiin is to die for. Oh, and the rainbow trout- delicious!

Houston's is a casual restaurant. Far from fine dining.

The other day a friend and I decided to eat at Houston's after a round of golf. We were told that we could not eat in the dining room because we were wearing caps. We noticed a female dining in the restaurant...

2.0 of 5 stars. This location has gone to the pits! There used to be a Houston's location on St. Charles Ave, but no more after Katrina. This used to be the MUCH better one. Mediocre food with huge price...this…

the best

I have never, ever left Houston's unhappy. The food is so fresh, and they prepare everything from scratch. Even their ketchup is prepared fresh daily. Home of one of the best burgers and spinach dip in town.

ALWAYS A GREAT CHOICE

Houstons will always be my choice to dine. The food & salads are always consistant. The prices seem to go up alot, but it's well worth it.
